On Saturday the 12th of October, one week before the Popronde arrives in Doetinchem for the first time, DRU Poppodium, production house De Nieuwe Oost, De Gruitpoort and Dag van de Achterhoekse Popmuziek are organizing a day for anyone who’s involved in music on a regular basis, in De Gruitpoort in Doetinchem, free of charge. There will be panel discussions, an information market and a mixer at the end of the day.
Musicians are invited, as well as producers, bookers, managers, podcasters, engineers, programmers and venues: anyone who is currently or is aspiring to be a music professional. Pop, rock, dance, hip hop… all genres are represented.
Panel discussions
Spread across three panel discussions, several music professionals will be interviewed and available for a Q&A. The members of these panels will share their knowledge and tips about bookings, acquiring shows, social media for bands and other interesting themes.
Information market
Beside the aforementioned an information market will take place. Here you’ll be able to have a one-on-one with organisations such as Poppunt Gelderland, Dag van de Achterhoekse Popmuziek, Gelders Goed, Where The Bands Are, 3voor12 Gelderland, Achterhoekse Bandcompetitie and many more.
Networking mixer
To end the day a networking mixer will be held. A great time to meet and catch up with colleagues and different specialists.
